About Research
Paxton Medical Group is a Clinical Research Practice. That means some of our patients may be contacted and asked to take part in different research projects.
Clinical research can take many different forms including:
- Filling out a questionnaire
- Taking part in an interview
- Sharing your anonymised data
- Testing new treatments, therapies, or devices
- Experiencing new combinations of treatments
Our clinical research projects are run by Dr David Lant and nurse Rose Flynn.
Participation in clinical research is entirely voluntary and you have the right to say ‘no’.
Your care and your relationship with your doctor or nurse will not be affected in any way if you decide not to take part in a research study.
